NOTICE OF VACANCY
The Frankfort Public Library District Board of Trustees seeks applicants for the Board of Trustees for a vacated Trustee position, which runs through May 2027. Trustees must be residents of the Frankfort Public Library District. Applications for the vacancy are available below.

April 2027 Library Trustee Election
On April 6, 2027, Frankfort Public Library District voters will elect trustees to serve on the Frankfort Public Library District Library Board. The election will fill three 4-year terms (May 2027 through April 2031). Candidate filing begins at 9:00am on Monday, November 16. Candidate filing deadline is 5:00pm on Monday, November 23rd. Candidate filings will be accepted at the Library Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm. Additional information about the election is available on the Illinois State Board of Elections website.
