Adult Services Assistant (Part-Time)

Hours: 15-19 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Salary: $17.50-$18.50/hour depending on qualifications
We are seeking an Adult Services Assistant who is passionate about working with people and enjoys working on a collaborative team. This position provides readers advisory and reference at our Adult Services Desk and occasionally assists at our West End Desk, providing computer and technology support. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about popular adult fiction, movies, and media; familiar with Microsoft software, as well as, Google Suite; can provide patient and friendly instruction on the use of database resources and streaming/downloadable media on a variety of handheld devices; and has strong research skills.

Qualifications for Job:

  • Minimum two years of college or LTA certificate.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience; library experience preferred.
