THE FRIENDS OF THE FRANKFORT LIBRARY IS AN INDEPENDENT NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR OUR LIBRARY.
In 2024, the Friends provided over $22,000 in funds to support things like Hoopla and Libby digital media, library newsletters, large print books, summer reading programs, Story Walk, Glowforge, and more.
Annually, they provide more than $15,000 in support for equipment and programs for the Library, including educational toys and games for the kids area, furniture for the West End & Teen Area, Gale Courses, and reading programs.
Please consider joining this diverse group to help support the Library.
DONATIONS
The Friends of the Frankfort Library are happy to accept donations for our ongoing Book Sales. We accept donations of hardcover and softcover books and DVDs. We are unfortunately unable to accept CDs, audiobooks, magazines, VHS tapes, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and old textbooks (anything older than 2 years.)
All items should be in donation worthy condition, with no ripped pages or stains. Donations should be brought to the Circulation Desk and may not be placed in the book drop. Please only two bags or boxes per household per day.
If you have more than two boxes, large donations will be accepted between 9-10:30am Tuesdays and Fridays at the library garage (adjacent to the library’s front doors).
