From the Page to the Silver Screen

The end of July here at the library usually means one thing: the end of summer reading. The end of programming, the end of frantically logging in minutes, and the end of handing out prizes to hoards of eager readers.

(Note: Saturday, August 4th will be the last day you can pick up your prizes, so make sure you hurry on in if you haven't grabbed yours yet!)

This year though, the end of July heralds the DVD release of The Hunger Games (August 18th!), and the theatrical release of the The Dark Knight Rises, which, arguably, is loosely based on a few incarnations of the Batman comic series. So, in that spirit, here are a few more book-to-movie adaptations that you might see in the next few months. Which ones will have you standing anxiously in line?
