Dream Big Read!
Now that summer is here, the Youth Service Department is anxiously awaiting the start of this year’s Summer Reading Club. Registration opens on Monday, June 11 at www.frankfortlibrary.org. It will be another fun summer for reading great books, logging minutes read by age level, claiming prizes, and participating in a wide range of programs. We have been busy planning programs for children in all age ranges from birth through fifth grade. We are looking forward to seeing the children and sharing some fun times with them.
Here are a few highlights for programming during our first week of the Summer Reading Program:
Grammy-nominated, Disney song writer, Dave Rudolf will be at the library on Tuesday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Tiny Tots (6 mo.-2 yrs.) start with Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on Tuesday, June 12.
Grades K-2 and 3-5 will be Mad Scientists on Wednesday, June 13. We just opened a second session for K-2 at 3:30 since the morning session is full.
The Preschool (3-5 yrs.) will find out Whooo Flies at Night?
Be sure to register at www.frankfortlibrary.org while there still are openings.
