Families all over the world struggle with hunger--and you can help them! Heifer International has been helping feed the world for 65 years, and now teens in Frankfort can help too!
FPLD's Teen Advisory Board will be participating in Read to Feed; they'll find people to donate for every book they read this summer, and then with the money the TAB raises, we'll buy a llama (or other livestock) to provide food and income to families in need around the world! Pretty cool, huh?
If you're a part of the Teen Advisory Board and you'd like to participate in Read to Feed, you have from now until the start of summer reading (June 11th) to find your sponsors. Starting June 11th, you read! The more you read, the more donations you get, the more families we can help feed. If you missed the packet from the last meeting, here's a copy that you can download.
Please note that this is for our Teen Advisory Board members; if you're not part of TAB, but you'd like to be, you can fill out our TAB application at the YS desk (or download THIS form) and come to the next meeting, on May 21st!
