Applying for a Library Card
Residents of Frankfort Public Library District may obtain a free library card at the library's circulation desk.
Two (2) forms of identification are required; one must show your current address. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied
by a parent when applying for a card. Library cards are issued for a period of three (3) years.
Item Renewal
A one-time renewal is allowed for all items unless they are reserved for another patron.
Items may also be renewed by phone except for the following: books displaying a "new" sticker;
items that have been recieved via interlibrary loan; feature film videos and DVDs; and items reserved for another patron.
Lost, Missing, or Stolen Cards
You should report a lost, missing, or stolen card immediately to the circulation desk.
Materials checked out on your card become your responsibility. The replacement fee for a lost card
is $2.00. Proof of residency is required at the time of issuance.
