HORROR WRITER'S ASSOCIATION - An association of writers and publishing professionals, HWA is dedicated to promoting dark visions and sleepless nights. HUGO AWARDS - Named for Hugo Gernsback, The Father of Science Fiction, the Hugos are sponsored by the World Science Fiction Society. In addition to best novel, short story and novella awards, the Hugos honor fans by giving awards to best fanzine, fan writer, and fan artist.
