It is the time of year for remembering the old and anticipating the new—and that includes children’s books! In recent years, there have been a number of adaptations, prequels, sequels, and reimaginings of classic children’s stories, from Sherlock Holmes to the Wizard of Oz. So as we leap into 2012, take some time for new adventures with a few of these old, favorite, storybook friends.
