Celebrating Diana Wynne Jones

A few weeks ago, a celebration in honor of the life and work of beloved children’s fantasy and science fiction author Diana Wynne Jones, was held in Bristol, England. Jones passed away in March 2011, and left behind a body of work that has left a lasting imprint on the children’s and YA literature communities.

It's Percy time!  Not only are we having our discussion of the Percy Jackson series on Wednesday (see calendar to sign up!), but news about the next Percy Jackson movie was recently announced.  That's right; The Sea of Monsters will soon be a movie.  Check out the cast!  The actress who played Glimmer in the new Hunger Games movie has signed on to play Clarisse.
