Applying for a Library Card
Residents of Frankfort Public Library District may obtain a free library card at the library's circulation desk. Two (2) forms of identification are required; one must show your current address. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent when applying for a card. Library cards are issued for a period of three (3) years.

Item Renewal
A one-time renewal is allowed for most items unless they are reserved for another patron. Items may also be renewed by phone except for items that have been received via interlibrary loan, magazines, console games, e-readers, science kits, playaway views and items reserved for another patron.
Lost, Missing, or Stolen Cards
You should report a lost, missing, or stolen card immediately to the circulation desk. Materials checked out on your card become your responsibility. The replacement fee for a lost card is $2.00. Proof of residency is required at the time of issuance.
