The Frankfort Public Library District will meet, by offering a professionally selected and organized collection, the education, recreational, informational and cultural needs of the Frankfort Public Library District community.

Access to this collection will be assured through a well-trained, courteous staff, an adequate facility and appropriate outreach services.

The library will endeavor to cooperate with all relevant local, state and federal agencies and shall keep abreast of changing library technology and practice.

All of the above shall be done in a fiscally responsible manner.
